About Charles Rennie Macintosh
Born in Dennistoun, Glasgow in 1868, Charles Rennie Macintosh attended evening classes at the Glasgow School of Art from 1883 to 1894. He created several of the most significant buildings of the past century. Internationally acclaimed as a pioneer of modern architecture, his furniture designs are also recognised as design classics.
