Oleanders, 1888 poster by Vincent Van Gogh

£49.99

This is just so beautiful.

In 1888 Van Gogh produced ‘Oleanders'. Van Gogh believed oleanders were joyous and life affirming flowers as they bloomed throughout the year. The Oleanders were depicted in a majolica jug which Van Gogh used for other still lifes and included Émile Zola's 'La joie de vivre', a novel that he enjoyed.
