Celia, Singapore Poster (British Drawings 1961- 1975) by David Hockney

£85.00

Artist: David Hockney

A rare black and white poster of what was originally a colour drawing of Celia Birtwell, the British textile designer. Celia is great friend and muse of David Hockney and she appears in much of his art down the decades. This stylish poster, featuring a seriously stylish and influential woman, would look great in any interior.

This poster was produced for a British Council sponsored exhibition entitled British Drawings 1961-75 at the National Museum Art Gallery, Singapore in 1988. It was part of the Singapore Festival of Arts that year.

Approximate dimensions of this poster are: 43.2 x 61.4 cm

This is an authorised David Hockney poster. It's an archive / vintage poster, printed in the 1980's, now collectible and in short supply. Our stock of it is sold as new. There is some very faint creasing along the edges which will not be visible when framed. Given its age the condition is very, very good. Please hang away from direct sunlight to prevent fading
